Epic Armoury’s Soldier Leg Protection are a pair of greaves, perfect for the Larp character that wants to have hints of historical designs. The greaves are designed to protect the front of the shins and down to the ankles and, due to overlapping plate design, has little impact on mobility. This low-fantasy design is meant to fit an assortment of characters, and is inspired by historical medieval armour. It’s simple form comes in a range of sizes, and can easily be used by most people thanks to its design. 4 leather straps wrapped around the back of your thigh and lower leg with additional tie strings that tie together with your gambeson make sure that the Soldier Leg Protection will remain fastend, no matter what
Made of 1 mm thick steel and chrome leather straps, this armour is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.
Inspired by medieval history
- Historically designed with sculpted ridges and overlapping plates to provide reinforced protection and to deflect attacks on a chaotic battlefield.
- Plate armour became more popular as firearm technology became more prevalent during the 13th century.
