Lenora sleeveless tunic
A good costume consists of several layers. This leads to structure, provides colourful accents and allows the combination of various pieces for functional wearing. This is why the "Lenora" sleeveless tunic was made to be worn in combination with an undergarment. The low cut frontline is being closed with a rustic leather string. If you wish to have a slightly finer lacing, you can take a look at our fabric laces in various colours to exchange the delivered one. The generous cut armholes allow the wearer to wear undergarments, jet provide the neccessary movability when being fully dressed.
The knee-long tunic is shaped bell-like towards the bottom and fitted on the waistline. The slit on the sides allows a free movability of the legs while running, dancing or hunting evil-doers. The tunic is made from premium canvas, a tightly woven fabric, which is soft nevertheless. We offer the matching ladies tunic "Lenora" to combine it with this sleeveless variation. You may also want to check the "Marita", "Alina" and "Ursula" undergarments - there is lots of possible combinations for colours, shapes and functions on any existing costume.
Natural leather products are very durable, but require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay flexible and to increase
Cleaning
It is best to start cleaning leather from the most delicate measures possible. Therefore, use a damp cloth with a little soap. If this is not enough - use a hard brush to remove dirt. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to wipe away any soap residue, and then use a dry cloth to wipe away the remaining water from the leather. Let it dry completely before the next maintenance step.
Conditioning
Always keep the leather maintenance after cleaning, because the soap will remove some of its natural oils. Apply mink oil, olive oil or professional lanolin-based fats to clean leather using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of fat with circular movements. Wait for the fat to soak in the leather, then use a clean cloth to clog the residue. For maintenance, you can also use beeswax by heating it to a liquid state and applying it to the leather. Remember that the leather so preserved will be harder and significantly darken what sometimes is the desired effect.
