"Mercurio" is a battle ready shield made of steel. The typical round buckle in the middle is not only used for decoration, but above all for deflecting blows. The hand of the wearer lies in the hollow of the buckle and is therefore additionally protected. The sturdy buckler is made of 2 mm thick steel and has a stepped edge. The star-shaped fittings are firmly riveted to the shield and give it even more stability. The handle on the back is made of wood. „ Mercurio" rounds off the equipment of every fighter and is stable enough to be used in a stage fight.

Stage fighting is a generic term that encompasses many forms of this hobby. You must decide for yourself which type of show fight this article is to be used for. Please discuss with the respective organizer and your combat partners according to which rules you can use our equipment safely.

Remember that most of the damage is done due to the lack of maintenance and bad storage.

Store your latex weapons flat or standing on their pommel - NEVER on the thrust (this will cause damage to the tip of the weapon, that’s not refunded)
Use a barrier made of paper or a towel to guard your weapon in contact with other plastic or rubber surface, so they won’t stick together.
Keep your weapon in a cool, dry area.
Avoid long time exposure to sunlight and don’t transport your weapons on top of your car luggage.
Remember about the maintenance, sprays work best for that.
