Epic Armoury’s RFB Large Shield is a semi-curved, kite shield inspired by 10th to 12th century soldiers. This 99 cm long shield is hand painted black with a red stripe, mimicking a traditional heraldry design. The rim is detailed to look like iron with studs. While the design is simple, this Large Shield is timeless and classic.

Wear this Large Shield left or right-handed with the use of six versatile canvas straps on the back, allowing for different fight styles and stances. Feel confident that this hard EVA foam and latex shield will withstand the continued abuse of a LARP with regular latex maintenance.

This product is handmade and/or hand-painted and therefore unique. As a result, this product can have natural deviations in pattern, colour and shape, which are not considered defects or faults. Measurements are all in cm if not stated otherwise.

Remember that most of the damage is done due to the lack of maintenance and bad storage.

Store your latex weapons flat or standing on their pommel - NEVER on the thrust (this will cause damage to the tip of the weapon, that’s not refunded)
Use a barrier made of paper or a towel to guard your weapon in contact with other plastic or rubber surface, so they won’t stick together.
Keep your weapon in a cool, dry area.
Avoid long time exposure to sunlight and don’t transport your weapons on top of your car luggage.
Remember about the maintenance, sprays work best for that.
